The film, which won TIFF’s prestigious International Federation of Film Critic’s Discovery award has been accepted by both the 2010 San Sebastien International film festival and the 2010 Tokyo International film festival where it is rumored to be in the running for a number of other top-level international awards.

English language rights were picked up by Anchor Bay who paid 7 figures for the chance to distribute the picture world-wide.

3D stands for 3 dimensions or 3 dimensional and it refers to something that has width, height and depth. Usually, films only have width and height, but they do not have depth. Basically, when a film is in 3D, the film is tricking the brain to perceive depth when there isn’t any. The scene offers the eyes two views to make it think that there is depth.
Believe it or not, the use of 3D has actually been in use since 1922, when “The Power of Love” was made.

Indie stands for independent and means that the film was made outside of the mainstream studios.  This usually means that it has a lower budget than do some major films made by the major studios.  It often also indicates a film that is a bit off the beaten path and one that may express some interesting filming and techniques.

Mr. Ku also wrote the screenplay. A graduate of Harvard University and a student at USC’s film school, Shawn Ku has worked on the Broadway stage and has been a featured performer in the Broadway and National Touring Company productions of “Fosse,” “Miss Saigon” and “La Cage Aux Folles.”

“Beautiful Boy” introduces the feature directing debut for Shawn Ku.  Ku also wrote the script with Michael Armbruster.

According to legends extant in the Himalayan areas, such as Nepal and Tibet, there exist ape-like creatures that walk upright on two legs reaching enormous heights. The Yeti has also been called “abominable snowman” and in North America there is a parallel myth about “Big Foot.”

In Eric Gozlan’s version of the story plane crash victims encounter the dangerous, vicious and frightening Yeti as they are trying to survive the crash and get rescued. Perhaps the story is better described and an “adventure- horror” film, but either way, “Yeti: Curse of the Snow Demon” makes for great entertainment.

This means that he is in charge of funding the movie and of making sure that it comes in on time and within budget.  In addition, he has to keep up all relationships that surround the film.  This includes external relationships such as those with the distributers, marketers, financiers and others. It also includes maintaining and creating relationships within the film community, including with the writers, directors and other producers. He is often even responsible for hiring these other members of the film crew.

Their content is distributed across dozens of platforms, from Hulu and mobile phones to game consoles and iTunes.  They are now in 50 countries and distribute content of all sorts, from entertainment and technology to gaming and more.

Produced by Gold Rush Entertainment with CEO Eric Gozlan, this adventure story is directed by Richard Gabai. The screenplay was written by Leland Douglas and the story stars Christopher Lloyd as the grandfather. This is an action-packed adventure story for people of all ages.
